About Me

Hello! My name is Kenneth Crimmins and this is my 4th year as an 8th Grade ELA teacher here at Kissimmee Middle School. I am an avid video gamer, and while I have an Xbox and a PC, my heart lies with Nintendo and the Switch. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and lived there until graduating college. During my time there, I worked in a number of community theatres, and was even lucky enough to serve on the board of directors for one, working with everything from young children to adults. I still have a great love of theatre, and I am on the team of directors for the Kissimmee Middle School Drama Club. This will by my 4th year working with the Drama Club as well.

IF YOU/YOUR CHILD ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE DRAMA CLUB, SHOOT ME AN EMAIL SO I CAN KEEP YOU UP TO DATE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS YEAR. WE WILL NEED ACTORS, PAINTERS, BUILDERS, and THOSE INTERESTED IN WORKING ON COSTUME, LIGHTING, and SCENIC DESIGN.

I love teaching, which should come as no surprise given my profession. My favorite part of this job is getting to ensure that all of my students are better at English, better at being students, and better at being people when they leave my classroom. I firmly believe that no skill is more valuable than knowing how to interact well with other people, especially in the professional environment. To my students, if there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I am excited beyond belief to help you transform into the best version of yourself that you can possibly be, by my definition and your own.
